Elżbieta Jolanta Burkiewicz (born October 17, 1964 in Mielec) is a Polish politician and entrepreneur, currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the 10th term of the Sejm.
Education and Professional Career:
She graduated from the Fine Arts High School in Tarnów and the University of Silesia, where she studied in the artistic field. Together with her sister, she founded the company Eldan, which employs about 120 people and specializes in the production of clothing and footwear for healthcare professionals.
Political Career:
In 2020, she became involved in Szymon Hołownia’s presidential campaign, after which she joined the Polska 2050 Association, serving as a board member for the Podkarpackie region and the region’s treasurer for the Polska 2050 party.
In 2023, she was elected as a Member of Parliament for the 10th term, running in the Rzeszów district from the Third Way (Trzecia Droga) list receiving 11,582 votes. She assumed the role of deputy chair of the Committee on Environmental Protection, Natural Resources, and Forestry and also became a member of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development. In 2024, she ran for the European Parliament elections as the leader of the Third Way list in district 9.
